Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How much do you cost?

Our costs are dictated by the nature of the project and circumstances
of the client and their organization. We are priced competitively and
fairly.  We will work with you to design a project that delivers excellent results
but still falls within your budget parameters.  Things that may influence the cost
would include travel, graphic animation, original music, and large scale
productions requiring additional personell and equipment.

2. What is the typical turn around time for a project?

Projects range from 1 month from concept to completion or as much as
3-4 months. A big factor effecting the time involved in completing a project
is the format of the program, whether it is documentary or educational,
whether it involves travel and extensive interviewing along with research.
For example, a commercial may take about a month’s time or less whereas
a mini documentary or informational piece may take 3-4 months.

3. Do you handle multiple formats?

We handle all the professional formats that are currently in use. This means
all DV and Beta formats in addition to VHS. We currently do not author DVDs
but that service is readily available to us through outside vendors with whom
we do business exclusively.

4. What are some of the first steps in the process?

Typically, we will meet with you and your team to assess your needs and
Desires including discussing the target audience, the most effective way of
reaching that audience, and the medium through which that will be accomplished.
A treatment or proposal will be created along with production timeline and required
personnel to execute the project.

5. Who are the members of your team?

Some of the members of the Verité team include videographer Thomas Teich
and audio specialist Rick Reineke, both broadcast veterans with years of
national and international production experience.

6. Can you do web content?

In most cases, video for web-casting parallels the same process as video for
broadcast or non-broadcast. We have done several projects specifically for
the web and the results were very positive.

7. Have you done live to tape productions?

Yes, we pride ourselves on the ability to go from the most intimate of production
settings to full scale multi-camera productions that include remote production
facilities and additional personnel.
